I only have a 139 yards of Lion Chenille and I wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas on what I can crochet for my aunt on her birthday Friday.
I’m fairly new to crochet but I’m learning very fast, but if anyone posts any directions can you please make sure you can check back in case I have questions?
Thanks in advanced!
Oh, BTW, no scarfs. I made them scarfs for Christmas.
Does it matter what size you use? I want to make the 1 hour scarf pattern on the back. It says use 4 strands of yarn together as if they were one but it doesn’t say what size. At first I started grabbing bulky yard in the store. But I started to think 4 stands of bulky would be too big so I put them back & got worsted weight. Now I’m worried worsted might not be big enough. I just don’t want it to look too lacy.
I’m starting a knitting club at my school, and I want to be able to provide knitting needles and yarn for everyone in that club. I am assuming plastic needles are the cheapest. So can you please help me in finding where to get cheap needles and yarn if not online then a local store found everywhere in the US? Thanks for your help(:
Watching the 2010 Olympic games and saw the cool hat Bodie Miller and several other members of the US Olympic team were wearing. It’s a blue and white stocking cap with a team USA logo on the front. Considered buying it, but then I thought to myself I can MAKE one of those — I just need to find a blue and white variegated yarn similar to the color in the hat. Any yarn suggestions? I’m looking at a DK or Worsted Weight.
We made them in spanish class so they’re obviously hispanic. There’s little ones and big ones. We did ours with popsicle sticks and you kind of wrap the yarn around the sticks in a certain way so that it makes a pretty design
Pictures of them would be nice. and i want the spanish name for them but either language will be fine.
Please be sure to subscribe to Naztazia’s channel! This video shows the basics of yarn, including fiber content, textures, sizes, standards, weights and substituting yarn in knitting and crocheting patterns. Yarn label guides such as weight classification and gauge are covered. Also discussed are tools to measure WPI or Wraps per Inch for mystery yarns. I purchased my WPI Tool and Knit Card from Knit Picks at www.knitpicks.com
