Sorry if this is a bit of stupid question but I’ve only knitted a scarf once and that was from a kit.
I don’t know how wide it is supposed to be maybe 7 or 8 inches wide. Is that enough. Some tips would be really helpful as i am just a beginner.
I learned how to knit a little while ago and one of my freinds who is in love with harry potter is haveing her birthday in the summer I thought it would be cool to make her the uniform and knit her liek a griffendoor scarf with a letter saying how sorry hogwarts is for her never recivieng her letter and all that but i need to know how to knit the scarf like how to form it or whatever. i think it would be great fun.
I need to knit a scarf for my best friend for Christmas and I need a pattern. I am broke and only have one full skien of useable yarn. I would like to try something besides garter stitch, I use it all the time. I want to do something unique and fun, just like my best friend. also: the pattern i’m using is knit 3 purl 3, so it’s ribbed….he claims its fine, but i’m worried: too girly?
