Another words, if it says knit the knits, do I actually knit the stitches that look like ovals (that were purl stitches on the oposit side) or do I do the oposite and knit the stitches that I previously knited, which on that end would be purl stitches? I mean is it like doing the rib stich, or the seed stitch?
Is knit a row purl a row, one row or two rows?
Cowgirl, thanks, but it isn’t a mistake in the pattern.
the pattern goes as follows:-
cast on 128 sts, 1st 4 rows st-st. 5th row k2tog to end – 64 sts.
then next row (ws) p0, k0, p0, k2 *p5, k2, p2, k2, rep from * to last 7 sts, p5, k2, p0
This continues like this throughout the rows.
Thanks for your advice Hairbender, but I do not need to take a beginners knitting course, I can knit and can understand a pattern.
i have now looked at the pattern again, and now understand it.
I can’t figure out if they want me to crochet in the front loop, back loop, or under both loops? I am new to crochet and all the patterns I’ve used have specified front or back loops. Help!
When a pattern says to finish with a purl row and bind off…does that mean do a purl row, and then bind off while knitting the next row?, or does it mean to do a knit row, and bind off as you’re purling?
