I am trying to learn to crochet, but I have noticed when I got to the local yarn store or when I have looked into joining clubs, it all seems to be about knitting. True, they have some crochet patterns or a few crocheters in the group…but it does not nearly seem to have the same popularity, appeal, or respect as knitting. Why?
