Long as in a bit longer then average.
It’s one of these yarns: http://www.craftshopsupply.co.uk/products/sirdar-escape-wool-rich-dk/395/
Each 50g ball is 110m which sounds like loooads although I’m sure it’s used up quickly…
Sorry if this is a bit of stupid question but I’ve only knitted a scarf once and that was from a kit.
Somebody at work asked me to crochet her a poncho; she asked me how much I should charge her and I was not sure. Somebody else told me maybe I could just tell her its up to her since she is trustworthy. I do trust her, but if she still would like me to give her a price, what should I tell her?
She told me she would buy the yarn for me, so I am not paying for that.
I’m trying to make a knitting needle case out of two place mats. I only have my size 15s and 10s with me. Does anyone know how wide each gap should be?
I’m talking regular sock yarn (fingerling weight) and thigh high stockings. Does any one want to venture a guess as to how much yarn I should purchase?
I am trying to learn to crochet, but I have noticed when I got to the local yarn store or when I have looked into joining clubs, it all seems to be about knitting. True, they have some crochet patterns or a few crocheters in the group…but it does not nearly seem to have the same popularity, appeal, or respect as knitting. Why?
I was given the 5 balls of yarn to knit with but have to buy the knitting needle since I don’t have that one yet. The blanket is 46×36 and is a baby blanket. They want it by Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to charge $150, which would be like $3.75 an hour for work. I just wanna know I am charging the right amount because my boyfriend said that was too expensive. I think he is wrong though.
I want to crochet a queen size afghan. I’m using a size F hook and am doing it all in single stitch. Thanks!
I know that the body consists of about 3000 single crochets total, but I haven’t counted stitches for the other parts yet. They don’t say how much yarn they used, blue or white.

Thank you so much!
