Ok I know how to crochet, im a beginer still, I’m trying to find how exactly how to make a hooded jacket if someone could please help me. anything will help, all it is is a one stich pattern not hard i just need to know how would u start to make a jacket out of it.

I know when you knit, you purl a row then knit a row to rib, but how do I do it when I crochet?
how do I “turn” crocheting? step by step would be appreciated I’m so confused!
