Wild Cotton Grass: Can it be spun into a usable textile for Knitting?

I would like to know if anyone has heard or has attempted to spin wild cotton grass into usable textile for knitting? The wild cotton I am thinking of is what grows in Alaska, specifically Eriphorum scheuchzeri. Thanks!
I’d like to know if the cotton itself can be spun. I assume if grass can be, then the cotton can also. Has anyone tried this?

Where can I buy Suss Bomull Cotton yarn ?

I have a Suss Knit Kit that was gifted to me but I need additional yarn to finish it. Any idea where I can buy the yarn ?
