This is my book review for the crochet book, “Crochet for Caring & Sharing, Touching Lives One Stitch at a Time”. To see photos of some of the things I made using the pattern in this book and to find out where to purchase it see my website: bethintx.webs.com
I am making a hat for someone and forgot the book at home in another state. All I know is to cast on 84 stitches, then do the stockinette stitch until it is 8 inches long, but I forgot the rest. So I was wondering if anyone else knew because I cant find it anywhere online.
I just got a set of circular loops for knitting and it didn’t come much with an instruction.
I see so many high rated books I don’t even know where to begin. I want one to learn continental knitting as I’ve read it is easier to crochet if you know continental knitting.
So any suggestions?
i got my sister a learn to knit set from for Christmas but it only comes with a two page book so i wanted to get her a better one, but there are so many out there help me pick the best one.
thank you
I’d like to learn how to crochet all different types of things. I I bought a book, but it’s too advanced for me. Can you recommend something for a beginner?
I bought this book, but I left it at my apartment, with no way to get to it re this blizzard!
If anyone has the pattern, would they mind posting it? The pattern is the one with the pink scarf with the white in the middle. It’s from the book Teach Yourself Visually Crochet.
Thanks in advance!
I was able to get to my book.
I knit and it’s been a long, long time since I’ve crocheted. I want to get back into it, but don’t know the best place for a book. I’ve got the ‘Happy Hooker’ and don’t really care for it. And Vogue doesn’t have a crochet version of their stupendous stitchonary series. Any suggestions?
I don’t mean patterns for sweaters or scarves and such, but stitch-patterns. I have had several over the years and currently mine is Field Guide to Knitting by Jackie Powlowski. What’s yours?
I have Donna Kooler’s Encyclopedia of Crochet, but there are things in the book which I don’t understand or need more clarification on.
