This is a beautiful pattern!
I love how instructions to one peice are all put into ONE video. It gets on my nerves when other crochet instructors on here post a video for eachround or row on their square. It’s so difficult finding them all in order! Thanks for being SO helpful:)
When you wash the afghan, the shaping will be removed each time you wash it. Years ago I made a sweater and blocked it. That was the last time I ever blocked yarn. I have ironed yarn although the labels say no ironing. I will use a cool iron and a pressing cloth. The yarn can melt if the iron is to hot.
If it is an afghan that you are looking at and not using, then you may want to starch it. You can experiment and see what you like. You may like a blocked afghan.
Thank you very much. Alternative round 5 is a complex maneuver with all the loops on the hook. I wanted to include it somehow because it is so unique looking
Great work as usual masha`Allah. Thank you for sharing.. i’m always having yarn and hooks while watching ur videos so i follow ur steps to do it correctly. and surely i’m learning a lot from you.
The first one was nice to do, but the alternative round 05 was not very simple.. i couldn’t do it from the first time.. i had to repeat it again & again..lol
Thank you for those lovely squares.
Do you have any video’s showing how to join granny squares? Like.. Joining one to another?
And I was also wondering about blocking, do you reccommend this with all grannies?
I recommend your videos all the time to my friends. You are always very thorough, and the instructions as so simple to follow… literally ANYONE can crochet if using your videos. Thanks.
I’m loving the color combo, Can you tell me what they are? I also agree with mrdixon420 and Nemesis2535 that it would be great to see you do a poncho and a shawl. I hope that you take the suggestions into consideration.I’m so excited with anticipation.
i know mrdixon420 I would love to see her do a shawl also, my aunt showed me the basics of crocheting but i have learned everything else from watching Teresa’s video. I have made 3 shawls, 2 using her shell patterns i will try to get pictures of them up soon. I am just starting to try to learn to read patterns..lol
Hi Teresa,

Is that because once you wash it, then it loses it’s shape again? I can’t seem to find the right video.
Thanks
I have a couple video’s showing various ways to join. I do not recommend blocking an afghan that you plan on using.
