This is amazing! Im so glad I came across this video. Im new to knitting and can never seem to fit the stitches on the right size circs. Thank you so much for this video!
What a PERFECT tutorial! I am a beginning knitter and haven’t been able to master magic loop until now. On behalf of all newbie knitters – THANK YOU!!!
I used this method to make my first baby hat. I’m a new knitter and I’m afraid to use DPNs. This was so much easier and I didn’t have to worry about the yarn falling off of the needles. I’m happy to have this technique in my knitting repertoire now. Thanks!
You do the best knitting tutorials! I am a beginning knitter and every time I get nervous about doing something new I come here and understand it right away. Your Magic Loop demo is the first time I’ve seen it and understood it. Thanks!
I had seen this method in a newsletter and wanted to try it but wasn’t sure what to do. This video is awesome! I’m now knitting a set of mitts way faster than on dpns.
Thank you so much for this! I have been stressing badly because I just can’t get the hang of dpns, but now this video has openen up all sorts of knitting possibilities! Thank you again!
Thanks for this video, it really made the method clear – I used to use 4 needles but have ended up with lots of odd ones in my bag ‘cos I keep dropping them.
Thanks for this Tons of people love this method and I’ve seen it mentioned so many times, but didn’t know until now what it was exactly. Turns out I’ve used it without knowing it, but only sometimes if I didn’t have the right size dpn’s available at the time. I find it very slow going as you have to keep moving the cable around…
How fast can You knit this way? I would be interested to know, so I would know if it’s something worth learning properly.

Thanks!! I’ve watched several demonstrations and they’ve made me even more confused. This was fantastic and so simply explained. Well done!
