@CBNcrochet You are welcome. I appreciate the comment.
wow this is so amazing. i have been wanting to crochet the letter g on a pilllow i made but i didnt think it was possible!! thanks tjw1963
@freedomplease I used the single crochet on the swatch. You can use other stitches with this technique as well.
What type of stitch is your swatch? Single crochets? Also, does it matter what type of stitch is used on the piece that you’re adding the lettering on? (I hope that makes sense.)
I’ve tried cross stitch but I don’t like the back. It appeared a bit messy.
Thank you so much this really helps b/c I have been wanting to do a project with this and I never even thought about doing it this way this is a great idea! I will be using this as soon as I get the chance to start on that project again.
@tjw1963 thanks
@2secretangels This will work on knitting as well.

thanks so much, i have done a square and am now practising doing the letters, i love love love your videos, im learning sooooo much, only started crochet 2 weeks ago so still a lot to learn, thanks for making crochet much easier to learn and enjoy xxx
The stitch is the basic single crochet.
hi there , im quite new to crochet but im learning a lot from you , can you tell me what stitch you have used to make the white square and can you tell me how to do it please , kind regards michelle xx
You could use the the embroidery chain stitch with embroidery floss. The embroidery floss is much smaller so it will fit on the small circle better.
Hey, can you help me? I’m making the baby converse booties (sooo cute by the way) and instead of the star, I wondered if I could put a little “S” for NCstate on the white circle. I know it’s kind of small. Do you have any advice for making a tiny little S?
what if you run out of yarn before you finish?
I believe it may be a size 10. You can pick them up for a couple of dollars for a package of 4.
what size needle are you using? and about how much does it cost? thx
I do not knot until the end in case I have to pull it out. When it is complete I will knot. Time code 3:23 shows how to knot the tails.
i love love love your video but in this video i didn’t see what you did with the yarn before yu started making your P. I mean if you knotted it before you started or something like that. Seeing that beginning step would be so helpful!
You can tie it or knot it and then sew it in. I usually try to keep the knots to the back of the work.
if i may ask do we tie the end of the yarn ? and ur amazin
