The yarn over instructions for knit was great. However I need instructions for YO on the purl side.
Excellent explanation. Thanks.
Excellent! Thank you really helpful
Thanks for the video. It was really helpful.
Thank you for your video. Would you please consider demonstrating all the YO types? For example Purl to purl, purl to knit, knit to purl, since you have already given us an excellent start with knit to knit? Love from the USA!
Thank you so much from Seattle! Beginning knitter and couldn’t figure out yarn over in my pattern until seeing this vid. THANKS!
Many thanks for your reply. I now understand that yo is the same as yrn (yarn round needle)
Added to the ‘list of things to knit’
YO is a full wrap of the yarn around the needle and a ‘yarn forward’ just means bring the yarn to the front of the work, just like you would do when changing between a knit stitch and a purl stitch.
can you do yarn overs when you purl?
I agree this is the clearest and most easy to follow video. Can you tell me what is the difference between YO and Yfwd?

Thank you for posting such a clear and easy to follow video!
I think that you are so clear in your instructions and go at a pace that makes it doable. Also, great tone of voice. You are awesome, and most of all THANK YOU!
thanks so much for the clear video! Clever using that colour, really makes it clear to see!
This is the clearest video I have come across yet. Thank you.
I notice you always use the same yarn.^^
No, I don’t yet! Those are on the looooong list of videos to make. Stay tuned and I might eventually get around to them!
Do you have video’s of the other 3 types of yarn overs? YO between knit and purl, YO between purl and purl and between purl and knit.
Thanks! This was very helpful.
Thanks so much! It is refreshing to see a video explanation of these knit stitches that I am trying to learn.
Your teaching video is EXCELLENT! Thank you!
