what if u dont even know how to knit huh
it depends on how fast you knit, if you do it every day for a few hours a day, you can finish one in a few weeks.
those needles look smarter that the straight ones, where your yarn may fall from it…
Gosh knitting is hard i have been trying to make a scarf for like 2 weeks now i think i am making it harder then it really is i haven’t be productive at all i keep undoing my cast ons and is it suppose to be tight please someone help me

I used size 8 needles for my scarf, (still making it) and a more bulky yarn. I have been Knitting and Crocheting for about 2-3 years.
I would say about 6 ft. long should be pretty good….I’m doing the same thing for my gf too

@datzDope that really depends on how fast you’re knitting.. I”ve finished mine (160cm) in one week.. but if you’re beginner and not using basic stitches, it may take more time.
you mean like how much yarn? well I found out that if a scarf is around the same length as the height of the person wearing it, it fits really well
about the yarn amount, just ask in the shop where you buy it, they’ll know how much you need for that specific type of yarn ^_^ (hope this helped)

I self taught myself to do a knotted loop around two needles. Then used the needles to add 49 more loops. Then knitted from one needle to the other.
Yes, you can knit straight on a circular needle but when you get to the ends you have to turn your work and therefore you would have to purl the other side across if you wanted the stockinette stitch. I too don’t like purling
i wonder how long will it take me to finish thewhole scarf.. i’m kinda slow
This looks pretty easy if you keep it simple… Crochet is very easy too, but tricky on the counting bit… I’m crocheting a hat. It’s looking great but my hands hurt so much after likes 15 rows. I have done so many rows already and I still need to work on the depth. UGH! I think I might do this as christmas presents. My family is moving to the US and they’ll need the warm stuff.

winter is here and i dont want to waste mony on scarfs and stuff so this is perfect!
err, xD i made my scarf too big at 45 stitches… ugh barely fits on my needles
