Knitted cupcakes? They sound so cool!! Do you have a pattern? I’d love to try them.
My ravelry username is littlemissvintage, what’s yours? I can look at those cupcakes!
ravelry! *hi five*
and flowers sound really fiddly and annoying :S im afraid i cant help you there. HOWEVER, if you ever need to knit cupcakes, that is my forte

I’m trying to make flowers…. there’s a pattern on ravelry.comfor them and really want to make them. I’mstill trying but I keep dropping the needles and the stitches always fall off =(
Make sure your yarn is on the right side of your needle. It should be at the front for purl stitch and the back for knit stitch. Also, remember that the purl on one side comes up as a knit stitch on the other side. I can’t realy explain it but try it and you’ll see!
She is explaining it wrong. You knit on a purl and purl on a knit. If your last row ended with a knit, your next row would start with a purl. Same principal for basket weave which she also explained wrong.
Hi, Michelle. Greetings from a 49 year old guy in Scotland. Thank you so much !! I finally cracked the purl stitch from watching your video. I’d watched several other vids on youtube many times each, but just wasnt’ getting it. Am now purling away quite happily. Will my next scarf really be rib stitch? Or, maybe box stitch !

Do you start each row with the stitch you started with or do switch to the other one?
