this is kind of like knitting…actually
Hi there,
I never leave comments (I know, lame right?) but I just wanted to let you know a little something I’ve just experienced. I’ve been crocheting for a while (mostly just double stitch with easy variations), and I just stumbled across your video after failing miserably at knitting. Something about the 2 needles just totally confuses me! Anyway, I’ve wanted to try the tunisian stitch for a while, so thank you for posting this EASY video! What a HUGE help! I’m gonna be up all night… :]
that sucks!!!!
tunisian or afghan crochet rug is much better than knitted rug its strong and warmer..i’ve done bed covers in tunisian crochet its warm and thick …btw, i used pure wool yarns
@sosweetlittlegirl99 I’m sorry but I do not know how to knit.
Do u know how to knit?
what if you want to do a single crochet after the afghan?
@cs9295 You would need to purchase the longest hook you can find. The will be solid with an end. Some have a flexible cord between to hooks. They will work too. The standard size hook will not be long enough for blankets.
Hi Teresa…I would like to attempt this afghan stitch to make an afghan. My question is do I buy really long crochet hooks or what. Won’t they fall off if you use just a standard hook?
@50oldschool44 I can send you the playlist for what I have posted. It does have some variations.
are there any variations on this stitch?
hi. I really this stitch, but can you please tell me what I can I do to make it in round. Thank you a lot
You can work a row of single crochet. When that is complete, cut they yarn, pull it through, then sew in the tail.
I love this stitch, but how do you end it off.when you have the size you want? Thanks
You are welcome.
Thanks for sharing. The books and written instructions didn’t make much sense but it really helps to see this in action.
I appreciate the comment, thank you.
You are a great teacher. Thank you so much. Janet from Tennessee

I have a couple of ideas that you may like. Have you seen the abstract cats? That is fun and works up pretty fast. I just posted the Puff stitch square which has two colors. I will send you a couple of video links.
i really want it quite big. I do want it warm, im using green mint and brown. Im not saying it has to me a rush but somthing quick, like thats different and fun and the stitch builds up tall. My idea of quick is maybe before this week or so it would be nice before next monday, but also somthin busy and interesting
I have over 400 crochet videos posted. What are you interested in?
Oh ok,
So is their any other vids u reccomend for me to try?

Thanks
Unfortunately the curling is part of the stitch technique and happens to everyone.
