I think they showed a loving, but simple family. I don’t think they made them look as bad as you think they did. But I am sorry if they were ripped off.
Ignorant ass you need serious help!!! I think you need to stop believing what you see or hear from television!!!! Kentucky does not harbor a bunch of inbread hillbillies, try stopping in some time to meet the real people of Kentucky. In my opinion they made this documentry by using a pack of lies!!!
Imraisor: Does the grandmother have Alzheimer’s bad? That is to bad.. She seemed like the nicest humble lady.. Honestly I would have loved to have had one of her quilts.. Or Sat on her porch and listen to her stories.. let her know she has a fan out in california.. I wish her well..
There where may times throughout the movie where they showed the outside a house an then the inside of another an clothes on a clothes line but didnt bother to mention the fact almost everyone had washer and dryers but hung there clothes outside in the summer so that they didnt heat their house up!!! She could have focused more on the struggle to survive than the nonsense drama. Rory promised everyone who let her use them and their stories in this film a percentage of all profits and has not!!
