When a pattern says to finish with a purl row and bind off….?

When a pattern says to finish with a purl row and bind off…does that mean do a purl row, and then bind off while knitting the next row?, or does it mean to do a knit row, and bind off as you’re purling?

Im going to say… do the purl row, then bind off while knitting the next row. If they meant for you to bind off purlwise….Im sure they would say that…

It means your last “regular” row will be a purl row. Then on the next row, instead of knitting, bind off.

It means, do a purl and then bind off while knitting the next row. Patterns will tell you to bind off purlwise if that is what they want you to do.

Work one row in purl, then bind off in your next row knitwise.

It means just that. Purl your last row then bind off leaving your purl row as the last row
