Hemp twine is more tightly wound & coarser in texture which makes it a little stiffer than hemp yarn which is a little softer in texture comparatively. I’ve made bracelets with my nieces out of both & I prefer the yarn for being a little more ply-able & easier to work with. They are both pretty strong & durable but the twine is rougher or scratchier at first but breaks in after time.
Hemp Twine: String Like. Made from Coarse fibers. Sturdy, good for shopping bags, macrame, necklaces, washcloths.
Hemp Yarn: Yarn Like, made from softer and finer fibers. Used for scarves, clothing, hats, basically clothing or skin touching items.
no pros or cons per say…just two totally different products.
Bracelets are super easy to make…..but use Hemp Twine…not yarn. They are stiff and scratchy at first, but will soften up if you where in the shower.
