You can make a type of loom with them by drilling a hole in one end of several sticks about an inch from the end. Thread a length of yarn (about 6 to 8 feet long) through each of the holes, this is your warp. Lay the sticks side by side with all the strands of yarn at the same end. Take the tail of a ball of yarn and begin to weave around the other end of the sticks, over and under, then around the last one all the way, and then weave back. Push the wraps down the sticks as necessary onto the warp yarns. Continue weaving until your warp is filled to about 4 inches from each end. Pull the yarns out of the weaving sticks and then use a yarn needle to weave these tails into the weaving. Wash it gently andyou have a scarf. With shorter warps you can make coasters, and with longer and wider ones a table runner.
