Here is a scarf that has what you mentioned. The pattern is there and so are the directions. Email me if you have any problems making it so I can help you.. You forget making the lettering on it and you don’t have to make it as long or even longer.

There are several ways to make these, but the simplest would be to cast on perhaps three or four times as many stitches, and then slowly decrease these stitches over the next several rows until you have the normal amount and knit away. At the other end, before casting off, increase over the same number of rows until you get to the same as you started with. (that’s the simple description)
