I must have knitted a mile or more of scarves with this pattern, I think multiple of six stitches, kind of a lacy rib effect … but that was 40 years ago. Can anyone refresh my memory?
Thanks!
okay, I know all of that, what comes afterwards for the rest of the six (or maybe 7) stitches, repeat to end of row? Thanks!
then what to do with the remaining stitches in the six or seven; second row K only, or repeat the one row for the pattern?
thanks to all who have tried to help; I found “lacy lattice stitch” at http://www.knittingonthenet.com/stitches.htm. Again, thanks for your help.

Knit two stitches, then (for the yo, or Yarn Over) bring the yarn to the back and wrap it over the right needle towards you, then (to slip on purlwise) put the right needle into the next stitch like you’re going to purl it, but just slip it off onto the left needle, don’t actually purl.
Hope that helps!

What is the instructions on the whole row? That would give us an idea of what you want to do. You put additional comments which shows ther is more to the row. P.S. I only get on here once a day so give me time to get back to you tomorrow for an answer. Or you can e-mail me.
