I have 700 yards of yarn and want to knit an afghan that it 5 feet long and 5 feet wide with speed stix(size 50 needles) but I want to know if 700 yards is enough?

No. Even with speed stix you’ll need something on the order of 2000 yards of yarn for an afghan.
do you know what weight the yarn is? is it all one color or is it several balls of yarn totalling 700 yards?
my wild guess would be yes but it may be a little on the small size like a baby blanket if its a super bulky weight yarn.
