i need help figuring out the knit stitch and purl stitch, i have a book but it is terrible at explaining what to do! I’ve already searched it but i still don’t get it! does anyone have a website or guide to tell me how to do these? and are there any REALLY easy projects that i can try so that i know i did it right? And i don’t know anyone that knits so its kinda hard…

The best site on the Internet for beginning knitters is KnittingHelp.com (http://www.knittinghelp.com/ ). The site has free videos for every process and technique a beginner needs to know.
Other good reference sites include LionBrand.com (http://learntoknit.lionbrand.com/?learnToKnit=1 ), which has excellent written instructions and newly added videos.
you will find some good videos on you tube..look out for the knitwitch and knitting tips by judy..they are very clear.hope this helps.
