If its for a baby it will last for as long as a baby wants one. If your making a full size blanket that you would like to last forever im not too sure. This type of wool, I have found, is prone to breaking and then all your stitches will come undone. I hope this helps.

Years, I have afghans that were crocheted many years ago. Still have the one made for my oldest daughter who is now 35
