I am a beginner at knitting, I just learned how to knit only using one needle. Now that my number stitches are done, how do I transfer them to the next needle “casting on”, using the same method as the one needle. I have looked online and seen videos, but they are too fast for me, and then I get frustrated.

OK, you have already cast on, creating the stitches on one needle. Then you would knit the stitches, and when you get to the end, you would either knit or purl depending on how you want the knitted fabric to look. Here is a website where they show still pictures, step by step. They don’t move so it may be easier to see. I hope this helps.

The two best sites I have found on the Internet for self-teaching knitting are Lion Brand’s education sites at http://learntoknit.lionbrand.com/ and Knitting Help at http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/learn-to-knit .
Lion Brand does not use videos. Knitting Help uses simple steps in videos that provide visuals for both the beginning steps and the more complex techniques. You might want to start with the Lion Brand site and use the Knitting Help videos as a supplementary aid.
