How do I use chunky yarn on the Ultimate Knitting Machine?

I’m trying to use this chunky baby yarn for this project I’m doing. And it’s NOT working. It’s getting jammed after the first row.. help??

PS: I’m using the ultimate knitting machine.

Just make sure you use the biggest guide you have and make sure the yarn is nice and loose (pull a bunch off the skein before you knit a row so it doesn’t get to tight). The needles may not be big enough to handle the size of the yarn either.

I have uses some “chunky” yarns and have had OK luck with them on my machine. Haven’t used my machine in a while… maybe I need to pull it back out again…. lol

Some brands of chunky yarn are just too chunky to use on the UKM, as I found out the hard way.
