This is my first time knitting something other than a simple scarf and I am stuck in the part where they gave me directions saying, “at neck edge, begin this row…”. How do I know where the neck edge is or do I just assume that after the directions I’ve been following, the next row is where the next edge is supposed to be?

If you are starting at the shoulders the pattern should tell you how many inches it will be before you start the neck edge stitches. Go to
