I really don’t do knitting board knitting. However It seems to me that you can cast the yarn on the number of pegs that your pattern calls for. I don’t know how to do purl on it. When you have to decrease, move one peg’s worth over to the adjoining peg. The problem is to increase in the middle. I really don’t know how to add stitches in the middle. You would probably have to move over many stitches until you get the empty peg or pegs in the middle.

You would need to knit a tension swatch first. if you get the same tension(i.e.the same number of stitches and rows as given in your pattern) then just follow the pattern you have. I googled in “knitting Board” and got web sites giving free patterns.Perhaps one of those may be similar to the one you have and wish to copy.
