The following site has a great pattern for a free teddy bear pattern.
i was going to suggest the same website the first answerer suggested. its great not only for teadybear patterns but also it has patterns for all kind. you should bookmark it.

This site has about four to six knitted teddy bear patterns, many are really cute, and they all look fairly easy. I just found it today, and hope you can find one you like enough to make up!
You may have to learn dpn use though, it’s not too hard once you figure out how to keep them in line. I use four with a fifth for knitting and it actually helps squaring out the circle, so to speak, and keeps the knitting working properly. Also I really, really like wooden or bamboo needles, or a firm plastic which allows the stitches to stay on rather than aluminum as they allow the stitches to slip off easily. Hope this helps!
