Do you find that they leave out little things in order to shorten the instuctions to fit on the label?
I diagram the pattern to figure out the little things they leave out to see if it is correct. What do you do to figure it out?
I am working on the pattern “Diamond Trelis Afghan” and find that diagraming it has helped me to figure it out. Does anyone else have this problem with them and what do you do?

Check out Redheart.com they can maybe help you with your question.
If my dear Mother was alive I could call her, she was an avid yarner, crochet and knitting was her first love. I have all her hand work and crochet needles and knitting needles. From chair coverings to full length crocheted pineapple design, tableclothes and doillies.
I can do a little chain stitching and knitting but nothing like she was able to create.
Any time I have a problem with crochet or knitting I go to the source and keep on bugging them until I get the information I need to start and then complete the pattern. I have not had a problem with the ones that I have worked but I had the most trouble with a Lionbrand afghan that used a pattern I have never seen in my life and it took several emails to figure out what they were trying to do. Just call the company and complain about their methods and ask them to correct it.
