Oh my gosh why didn’t I find this months ago. Thank you so much for having this video. A friend requested a wavy scarf and I googled ripple patterns and came across this video. U r great and once again thank you for this video.

how do you start a single one? like I know how to do the single but how do you start it O_o

nvm i got the start, but i noticed you said to do do 5 single crochet, and the you say do 3 single crochet. so just 8 or am I missing something?

3 single crochet will be in the same stitch for the increase. This is what creates the peak of the ripple. If you look below my channel banner “The Art of Crochet”, click on “More Info” and you will see a link to my crochet blog. I have a picture diagram of the stitch placement. That may help you understand where the stitches go.

Yes you can. You will add an extra 15 chains for each ripple that you want to make.
