thanks for your video xD
Hi Teresa,
Thanks for sharing your beautiful hand work which I admire you for. Also you are an excellent teacher. Keep up the good works. I have never crochet a hat yet in all my life until I saw your videos. I would love for you to do a rasta hat/tam
youtube
Can you make so many a number of granny squares with this stitch to make a quilt? Because that’s what I would like to do. The puff stitch is easier for me to do when I do it through a granny square.
I appreciate the comment, thank you.
I’m from Mexico and your videos are useful. Thankyou very much ’cause I’ve learnt a lot
You are welcome.
I live in thailand.
Thang you very much.
I look you vdo every day.
A chain 1 space has one chain. A chain 2 space has two chains. The chain 1 spaces are on the flat side and the chain 2 are in the corner.
whats the difference between a chain 1 space and a chain two space? is it always through the next space except on corners where its works in the same space?
This would make a very nice baby afghan. I would recommend 8-10 skeins for a baby afghan.
If i wanted to make a baby blanket out of this kind of stiching would that be okay?? What would you recommend? How many bundles of yarn would i need also?
With some practice, I am sure it will all come back to you.
My mother taught me how to crochet when I was a kid. She had few hooks but I didn’t use the big ones. I have always used the smaller ones I can’t even remember what size it was. I don’t have the hooks anymore.
I know how to crochet a bit but I didn’t know what the stitches were called. Good thing I have found this video!
I wish I can crochet again…
I like the look of fullness with 9 loops. You do not have to do 9 loops. You will need to make up the difference with extra chains if you make a less loopy puff.
Wow, your puff stitches are HUGE. Why do you pull up 9 loops instead of just 7? Just to create even more puffiness I guess, huh?
ok but i mean like ehh
starts with like
blue-white-purple-white-green-white
and stuff
You can use any color yarn that you would like to use.
is it ok if i use en muticolor yarn?? cause y other one’s are like ehhhh tiny
I wish I still had mine from when I was a lil girl i started at the age of 9 or 10 and I wish the kids now a days were more interested in it thank you so much for sharing your knowledge it is such a blessing
I bought that crochet hook back in the early 1980′s. It was the first aluminum hook I ever owned. Crochet hooks last a long time.
O WoW how old is your needle it has the price on it 55 cents 1 needle is double that now.
I work a single crochet to join. The single crochet counts as my other chain. I do that so I end up in the corner. There is a link to the written instructions under “More Info” to the right of the video. I also have a symbol chart there.
Teresa: After the last puff stitch in each
round you only chain 1 before joining it
to the first puff stitch to make the corner.
All other corners have a chain 2. Doesn’t
this make that corner “tighter” than the
others? This is a beautiful square.
Thank you.
You would cut the yarn at the end of each round the then join a new color.
