help:
i just started this pattern and it has a curve to it. how do i keep it straight?
thanks for the reply Teresa!
But with a hook like that and this pattern, how much yarn do you think i need to have?
You can make a scarf with any size hook. Since it is a smaller hook, you will modify by using more chains if you want the scarf wider.
hi Teresa, im just strating to do crochet and i bought 2 yarns and and 3.50mm hook. do you think i can make a scarf with that? any advice? i want to make a scarf or a beret but my hook is just 3.50mm
please help.. thanks
I just found out that you’ve already put the written instruction for the finishing end of the scarf. I’ll pick one. Cant wait to finish it !!!! Thanks!
Hi Teresa, thank you for the video that help me make my first crochet scarf by myself
I’ve done with the length but i really have no idea how to make the last line to be straight (I mean …not wavy). Could you show how to do the last line or just write it into the pattern please?
I would purchase two skeins of yarn.
You should hold the yarn how it is most comfortable for you. There are some suggested ways but I did not like any of them when I was learning. I do not hold my yarn anywhere close to the “Book taught method”. I even had people tell me I was holding my yarn wrong. There is no such thing as wrong, when you are able to achieve the same end results from a pattern. I have a video I will send you showing how I hold my yarn. You can experiment with different ways.
Hi Teresa, I am working on a shell stitch scarf using variegated yarn and wanted to know what is the best and correct way to hold the yarn in my left hand as I am crocheting with my right. Thank you for your time.
How many rolls of yarn do you need to make a scarf?
amazing…. i just started crocheting and i even get this one!!!
That is funny you mention that about the store bought socks. I bought some baby socks about 3 weeks ago with a tutorial in mind. I will send you the link for the your requests.
Hi Teresa
your Videos are the greatest!
I needed a refresher course and thanks to you I think I’m ready again!
I do need some help with a few things though from you or any fans reading.
1 could I get the link & playlist you mentioned above?
2 Do you or anyone by chance have an Easy Pattern for a Little Ones Sweater,Booties,Bonnet/Cap w Earflaps?
3) Can you tell me how or point me to directions for trimming store bought socks w crochet or crochet &beads.
Thanks a million!
Sandi

Maybe a hat?
Hi Teresa, I’ve finished this cute & easy scarf as my friend’s wedding gift, but I’m stuck up how do I cover the starting edge of the scarf by doing some edging. Is there any video you’ve done to cover the rough edges ?
Regards,
skhan
hi, since I havent crotcheted in a while, whats the easiest pattern that you have something simple so I can get back into the swing of things…dont take me too fast..its been quite a while..
thanks again
Thank you!!!
I appreciate the comment. I will send you the link for the patterns stitches I have posted. It is in a playlist. Each video will have a link to my crochet blog. Most should have symbol charts that I have made to go along with them.
Hi AGAIN! Thank you for sharing your craft! I have a question. I followed the link because I didnt see where it said how many for the chain on the video. On your site I went by the diagram. How do I find more of these? I love the diagrams. To me that was the simplest ever.
As always, Thank you so much!
Colleen

Hi!! I’m from Chile..and I’ve just started on this new interest ..I’ve searched and come up to many vids but this is extremely well done…the slow motion view is a wonderful technique to let us, the newbies, get everything without getting confused or lost. Thanks a lot!!! I’ll try to do ths scarf =)
