2 me it’s eaz
This seems pretty simple. I still prefer knitting though.
For the confused of us…
I”m a beginner, and have used other videos on the web and YT to get started. Since I already know this stitch, it made sense. However, the hands in this one obscure the action very badly and the focus isn’t great (and needs more close-ups), so it’s not the best as a demo. Oral instructions here are pretty good though. If it could be re-shot it could be perfect.
wait where is the loop at 00:37 ??? i am very very confuzed!
i actually ended up with a triangle lol i was so confused. thanks!
to start a new row i believe at the end of the row you just finish you put your hook in the second chain from where the hook is, then you continue to do single crochet..and at the end of each row flip to the opposite side of what you just finished and like she said you’ll be going in a zig zag . im not sure if i left any details out, but i hope i didnt.
YAY i learned this in girl scouts tonight! its so easy when you do it like 20 times o.o its fun!!!!!
When you do the initiate chain, let it hang off of your neck (each end falls over your chest). As a general rule, I stop the initial chain when both ends of the scarf reach the top of my hips or just below the opening of the front pockets of my jeans. Then, I crochet from there.
Actually, after the row, you’d turn, chain one, then do a single crochet through the whole row. You need to add the extra stitch, or you’ll slowly decrease with every row, and end up with a really big triangle. o:
same here like how do u make the third row? hehe
…… huh?? I DONT UNDERSTAND!!
man, im still lost O.o
I believe you would flip the row to where your needle is on your right, then start a new row of single crochet stitches. Continue until you reach the end of the row, flip, and start again. Keep going until you reach the length you want your scarf to be. There are probably other vidoes that give you a complete demonstration. Good luck!
I understand how to do the chain stitch and single stitch but I’m lost from there how would I continue to make a new row.
I’m totally lost any help would be great
Oooohhhhh. Okay. Thank you so much. I was wondering how you would make something like this crocheting. I had only seen people make the chain stitch, now I understand. Thanks.
Thanks a lot! I didn’t know how to crochet until I saw this video. XD
Elissa:
How long do you make your scarfs? I usually only use the basic double stitch. I can’t do any of the others. Do you have tutorials
