The ball is the basic shape that can be used for crochet animals, heads or figures. Some people use it as a hacky sack ball to play with. You can make things up or use it as a guide to another set of written instructions. The ball can be looked at as a blank template.

i make it simpler i chain 4 join then i make 2 rows of singles then make 2 rows of 2 doubles p stitch then i make sc in each till its the half size of the ball then i start decreasing and then finaly its done
