your videos are so clear and easy to understand thank you
what size (mm) is a ‘G’ hook? Thank you from london!
thank you so much, you make my life easier!
Fairly easy to understand – thanks. hard to see sometimes though – your hands and the hook are out of view sometimes, esp. toward the end.
i reallly reallly need to learn this so can you plllllzzzzzz make a video in slow motion and real time… im very slow and dumb and i wanna make dolls for my children
your vids are so helpfull ty
could you make a vid on how to so amigurumi legs to the body , im just begining to crochet , i had to teach my self
TY:) SO MUCH!
thankyou very much! x
THX!!!!
You work two stitches in the same stitch to increase the size of the ball. If you look at the top of each stitch, you will see two loops that create a V shape. You put your hook under the two loops.
i dont understand the part where you said two single crochets in each single crochet. where do i put the hook through??
THANKS!!!
You are welcome.
Thanks for the video! It was really useful especially since I am a beginner. I get the feeling that I will be doing a lot more crochet in the future
I keep watching over and over, and I just can’t catch how you start off. You go so fast! Would it be difficult for you to make another video, showing just the first 2 rounds very slowly and clearly?
ahhh finally i can learn to make a ball. i would make a scarf or something but i just have no patience.
Thank you so much for the very easy to understand and follow instructional video. I had never crocheted a ball before, and was quite surprised how easy it was. I
had been making a baby shower gift (2 hats, 2 pr. booties) and I was able to add in an adorable soft ball. My kids liked it so much that I’ll be making another one for them in thicker yarn.
Do you know how it would be possible to make an amigurumi football? I’ve looked for patterns and I can’t find any..
You’re most welcome!
Thank you for sharing your modification technique.
I appreciate the comment, thank you.
Thank you! I’ve searched and searched and searched for a video on making balls, that shows the entire process and are easy to follow. You, m’lady, are a crochet goddess!
i make it simpler i chain 4 join then i make 2 rows of singles then make 2 rows of 2 doubles p stitch then i make sc in each till its the half size of the ball then i start decreasing and then finaly its done
The ball is the basic shape that can be used for crochet animals, heads or figures. Some people use it as a hacky sack ball to play with. You can make things up or use it as a guide to another set of written instructions. The ball can be looked at as a blank template.
what can u do with that ball?
i was joking…i love your videos! Keep up the good work!
That is what happens at time when you have allergies. Thank you.
