I need to make a tail for a crochet pug and I need to find out how to make a spiral shape. Just a long piece that spirals down, like a snake. Not a flat circle, but a spiral. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

I would start at the end of the tail where it attaches to the dog. Make a tube, and decrease as needed to make the tail come to a point. Take a few stitches to secure the tail into a spiral.
