Does anyone know where I can find some good crochet or knitting patterns for free?

Yes, I’m a man and I knit and crochet and I do not feel ashamed about it whatsoever!

I would like to find some good patterns for animals or maybe some doilies!

Some stores that sell crochet thread also have free leaflets of different patterns. In your search box, type in the word crochet and probably there will be plenty of sites listed that you can go to for patterns.

Check out Hobby Lobby’s web site, I just got several crochet patterns off their site.
As for animals and doilies, check out the knitting and crochet magazines at places like Barnes and Noble or your local drug or supermarket. Most magazines are no more than $5.99 and you get a variety of patterns to play with.

Have you been to http://www.craftster.org ? Awesome place for anything you can think of. There is a whole section just for knitting and one just for crochet. There you will find help, patterns, ideas….you name it. Check it out.
