It's such a cool website. When you become a member (which is free), they offer all kinds of cool things-you can search for free and purchaseable crocheting and knitting patterns, keep a hook/needle inventory, keep a library of the books you own, keep track of the specifics of your projects (including yarn, pictures, etc.), see other peoples' projects, and the list goes on and on. It's a really cool site. I'm addicted. Some of the other sites I like to go to include www.crochetpatterncentral.com (I actually use their knitting site more often); www.freevintagecrochet.com; and www.lionbrand.com (which is one that someone else already mentioned). If you do a search for "free crochet patterns" at yahoo.com, it'll most definitely turn up more websites than you could ever know what to do with. Try the Ravelry site, though. It's really awesome!
