I like the texture of knitting products as it looks thin and even, however I find crochet a lot easier to do. Is there any stitches that make the scarf looks thin? Any links? Thank you.
Yes, a thinner yarn and a smaller hook will produce a finer fabric. More holes will make it look lacy, or a finer yarn and bigger hook can make a lacy looking fabric. Crocheting with the cotton crochet thread and a very small hook can be used to produce fine lace like you see in tablecloths and doilies.
If you crochet with a thin yarn or thread and use a “Large” hook it will come out lacy and thinner. Also if you use a love knot stitch Also know as – Lovers’ Knot, True Lovers’ Knot, Solomon’s Knot or Hail Stone you will get a light lacy look. Good Luck!

Try using a finer yarn such as sport weight or baby weight yarn.
