I am knitting a scarf (the first one I have ever made) and I want to know how to do a border for it – crochet or knit?
I know how to knit and purl. I mean I’ve made scarves and hats before.. but I would like to follow a pattern that’s basically a fail-safe project lol.
I’m trying to crochet something, and it tells me to chain 2, and then single crochet 6 on the chain… I know how to chain and single crochet… I just don’t really know how to do this specific thing.

I have a Suss Knit Kit that was gifted to me but I need additional yarn to finish it. Any idea where I can buy the yarn ?
i’m knitting a scarf with a knit one row, purl one row pattern, and it keeps curling on the sides. how can i keep it from curling in on the sides because right now it just looks like a really long knitted cylinder, and it’s not attractive.
I bought this book, but I left it at my apartment, with no way to get to it re this blizzard!
If anyone has the pattern, would they mind posting it? The pattern is the one with the pink scarf with the white in the middle. It’s from the book Teach Yourself Visually Crochet.
